Wyandotte Town Centre BIA Commercial Signage Program

If you have a commercial property within the boundaries of the Wyandotte Town Centre BIA and currently do not have a permanent business sign, or your sign is in need of upgrade we will assist you.

The program is available to all WTCBIA members in good standing. We will reimburse members for 50% of the cost of installing a new sign to a maximum of $500.00 onetime per business address. Please note that the WTCBIA does not reimburse members for the HST portion of the receipt.

To qualify for this program you must adhere the following guidelines:

1) Submit a picture of your old sign
2) A copy of one quote for the repair or replacement of your sign
3) A picture of the new sign
4) Signage must be purchased from a business within the borders of the WTCBIA (if possible). A list of suggested vendors can be supplied by the WTCBIA.
5) Must be a permanent sign, meaning no banners or other non-permanent signage
6) Must adhere to all City of Windsor Bylaws including signed permit from City of Windsor for any new signage

Applications must be submitted prior to installation of new sign.

Funds are released at the discretion of the WTCBIA.

Wyandotte Town Centre BIA Landscape and Lighting Program

The Wyandotte Town Centre BIA Landscape and Lighting Program provides businesses the opportunity to beautify their store fronts and the area by helping offset some of the costs associated with improvements.

The WTCBIA will subsidize up to $250 per business, per year, to cover the costs of plants, plant materials, potting, sidewalk and parking lot lighting, exterior entrance lighting (foyer), and alley lighting.

To qualify for this program you must adhere the following guidelines:

1) Provide a before and after picture
2) Submit receipts showing recent purchase of qualifying materials/items
3) Maintain/water/feed recently added landscaping
4) Demonstrate a willingness to maintain a clean exterior of business, demonstrated by passing an inspection by WTCBIA
5) If installing lighting, it must be operational at all hours of darkness
6) Business must produce valid business license
7) Adhere to all City of Windsor bylaws

Funds are released at the discretion of the WTCBIA.

Wyandotte Town Centre BIA Broken Window Replacement Program

If you have a front facing first floor commercial property within the boundaries of the Wyandotte Town Centre BIA and one of your windows has been broken, we will assist you in having it repaired.

The program is available to all WTCBIA members in good standing and we will reimburse members for 50% of the cost of glass repairs/replacement to a maximum of $500.00 onetime per year, per business address. Please note that the WTCBIA does not reimburse members for the HST portion of the receipt.

To qualify for this program you must adhere the following guidelines:

1) A copy of the Windsor Police Services report filed regarding the window in question. The WTCBIA will not reimburse the member for the cost of the Police Report.
2) A copy of paid invoice for the repair or replacement of the glass window in question.
3) A picture of the window being replaced
Window must be repaired by a business within the borders of the WTCBIA (if possible). A list of suggested vendors can be supplied by the WTCBIA
4) Business must produce valid business license
5) Repairs to glass must be made within 2 weeks of police report
6) Adhere to all City of Windsor bylaws
7) Funds are released at the discretion of the WTCBIA. Funds will be released within 2 weeks of completion of repairs.
